Michelle Lee is a Los Angeles based composer and has been involved with music her whole life starting with marching band, concert band, symphonic orchestra, jazz band, drumline, choir, and classical piano.



Michelle is a graduate of University of California Irvine with a degree in classical piano performance and University of Southern California (USC)

Scoring for Motion Picture and Television (SMPTV).



Her work has been deeply inspired by the film composer Alan Silvestri ("Cast Away", "Avengers", "Forrest Gump"), Harry Gregson-Williams ("The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", "Prince of Persia", "Cowboys and Aliens"), and Brian Tyler ("Iron Man 3", "Avengers: Age of Ultron", "Thor: the Dark World")..



Some of the soundtracks she enjoys listening to are: "Castle in the Sky", "Howl's Moving Castle", "Princess Mononoke", "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", "Transformers", "Castaway", "Avengers", "Forrest Gump", and "Sherlock Holmes".



Some of the directors she appreciates are: Joss Whedon, Hayao Miyazaki, Len Wiseman, Michael Bay, Robert Zemeckis, Andrew Adamson, Peter Ramsey, Christopher Nolan, Tim Story, and Guy Ritchie"



 

She worked at Sonic Fuel Studios with composers Christopher Lennertz and Timothy Wynn. The movies she worked on include: "Ride Along", and "Battle of The Year". She also worked on the game, "Plundernauts" published by Backflip Studios, designed & developed by Lightbox Interactive.



She also worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment as assistant music editor with Todd Bozung. Some of the movies she worked on include: "About Last Night", "Think Like A Man Too", "The Wedding Ringer", and "Horrible Bosses 2"

She recently worked on trailer and commercial music along with short films.
